As State budgets falter, so do state park budgets, especially in cash strapped California, where the list of possible park closures is long and,pressure to privatize the parks mounts, as does pressure to privatize schools, prisons, public health, roads, utilities, and other public assets, including even fresh water. One of San Francisco’s State legislators, Senator Mark Leno, has proposed Senate Bill 792, which would authorize the sale of Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, the only urban park in California, to the locally unpopular Lennar Corporation, a Miami-based mega developer.

Okay what I mean is that all my local news channels claim that they are the most watched or the number 1 news stations in my area, I live in L.A and all of them have commercials saying that they are the most watched, and I lived in Miami for a few months and saw the same thing, claims from multiple local news that they were the most watched? do other cities do the same thing where you live? and is this pretty much bending the truth a little just to get more viewers?
